Everything you need to know about gear, is right here.
Having the right gear is important when playing lacrosse, but we know it's a lot to learn, so we're trying to make it as easy as possible.
Below is a list of required gear for boys and girls, as well as links to where they can be purchased. If you are interested in one of our rental packages, click HERE.

BOYS' GEAR
To play lacrosse, boys need:
- A boys stick
- Helmet
- Elbow pads
- Shoulder/chest pads
- Gloves
- Mouthguard
- Athletic cup
- Athletic shoes (no metal spikes)
GIRLS' GEAR
To play lacrosse, girls need:
- A girls stick
- Goggles or Girls' Helmet
- Mouthguard
- Optional gloves
- Athletic shoes (no metal spikes)
WHERE TO BUY
The best places to purchase gear would be Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sling It, Lacrosse Fanatics, or SidelineSwap.
The following items are offered by Sling It Lacrosse and are recommended by the Phantoms.
If equipment is going to be purchased used, please make sure it is in compliance with current safety standards.
